Objectives

1. To collaborate with research organizations and other institutions both local and from abroad aimed at advancing the science and practice of pest control.
2. To strengthen the distribution of knowledge on pest control among members by keeping them informed on recent advancements from the scientific world.
3. To encourage the use of high quality products, correct application and equipment maintenance methods including safe and recommended storage of pest control products.
4. To co-operate with Government regulatory bodies and local authorities responsible for the formulation and amendments of laws and regulations affecting the pest control industry.
5. To foster co-operation among members and at the same time encourage fair competition in the pest control industry.
6. To uphold the practice of good pest management by exposing without bias illegal or unethical conduct of any member engaged directly or indirectly in pest control operations.
7. To inspire members to improve the knowledge and skills of their employees through training and certification in order to retain the best qualified staff who can maintain high standards in the pest control and management practice.
8. To promote the image of pests control industry and educate the public on the need to seek services from professional pest control operators who are members of the association.
9. To monitor PEMAK members’ adherence to the code of practice.
10. To arbitrate over disputes that may arise between PEMAK members and their clients.
11. To engage in any other work beneficial to the members of the association and which conforms to the laws and regulations governing the pest control industry
